Cool Things About the Actual Window in Windows

Learning about the actual window in Windows:

Did you know that you can close a program by double clicking on the little icon in the left upper corner of the window (called the Control box).

Try it! Of course you can minimize and maximize from here too.

Also, if you have several windows open and are not sure which one is the active window (the one that will register your keystrokes) notice the color of the title bar.

Clicking on one of the windows makes it the new active window- notice how the title bar changes color.

Also if you maximize a window it loses its border- a restored window always has a border and a square maximize button in the right top corner. Remember that minimized windows (using the minus sign in the right top corner) are temporarily invisible, but they are still running. Just click on the file in the task bar to restore.
